Spectrum Control has an opening for a night Kiln Room Operator in our Advanced Speciality Products manufacturing group. This position works a 12 hour rotating schedule of 3 days on/3 days off (7:30pm - 7:30am), including holiday and weekend work.

The individual filling this role must possess the following:

  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
  • Good or correctable vision
  • Excellent manual dexterity
  • Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds on a regular basis
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred

Spectrum Control is seeking a Maintenance person to join our State College team. This is a full-time opportunity for Third Shift (11:30pm to 7:30am). We also have a 1st shift position available, for a Skilled Maintenace person to join our team (7:30am-3:30pm)

The individual filling this important job will be responsible to complete preventative maintenance tasks and assist as needed with building upkeep and janitorial duties.

Our ideal candidate will have an excellent attendance record; reliable; possess a strong mechanical aptitude; be able to work independently; get along well with others; possess basic reading and math skills; and be able take the initiative to get the job done and do what needs to be done in a timely manner; good communication skills; self motivated; plumbing and light electrical experience; building and production issues; forklift and scissor lift experience; basic computer skills a plus; must be able to lift 50lbs regularly and up to 200lbs using a lift; work overtime hours as required; 4 weeks paid training on 1st shift.

1st shift Skilled Maintenance person will have additional responsiblilties.
