Founded in 1968 as a solutions-oriented company, Spectrum Control is a leader in the design and manufacture of control products and systems used to condition,
regulate and govern electronic performance. The Company combines engineering expertise, design and testing capabilities, vertically integrated manufacturing processes
and flexible production schedules to provide custom solutions to its customers.
The Company's Signal Integrity Products Group (59% of fiscal 2004 consolidated sales) includes electromagnetic interference (EMI) filters, gaskets, specialty ceramic capacitors, and our recently developed motor line feed-thru (MLFT) filters.
The Power Integrity Products and Management Systems Group (24% of sales) designs and manufactures numerous power integrity products (power entry modules, power terminal blocks, and custom power filter assemblies) and power management systems (custom power distribution units, remote power management systems, and fuse and breaker interface panels).

Our Frequency Control Products Group (17% of sales) designs and manufactures various RF and microwave components and systems including ceramic patch antennas, duplexers, lumped element filters, cavity filters, waveguides, amplifiers, frequency mixers, oscillators, synthesizers, and multiple channel filter banks.
Markets served include: communications equipment (43% of sales), military/aerospace (36% of sales), industrial equipment, medical instrumentation, automotive, and computers.

Fiscal Year 2004 Highlights |

- Dramatically increased net income and earnings per share to $4.2 million and 32 cents, respectively, in fiscal 2004.
- From existing cash reserves acquired Salisbury Engineering, Inc. (SEI) and the Components Business Unit of REMEC, Inc. (CBU), greatly expanding the Company's technology and product offerings in the large and growing market of frequency control products.
- Integrated SEI and CBU into the Company's organization and business systems, with both acquisitions being immediately accretive to overall profitability.
- Generated $8.7 million of net cash from operations in fiscal 2004, driven by improved inventory turnover rates and related inventory reductions.
- Developed and introduced numerous new products, and increased research and development expenditures to $1.7 million in fiscal 2004.
